The “Surgical” Standard

My mother was a surgical nurse. I didn't grow up learning how to “tidy up”; I grew up learning the concept of a Sterile Field. She taught me that what you can't see—biofilm and pathogens—matters more than what you can. That distinction between “visually clean” and “clinically sanitized” became my baseline.

The Engineering Mindset

For 20 years, I worked as a Systems Engineer for major financial institutions (including MasterCard and Bank of America). My job wasn't just fixing computers; it was building Zero-Tolerance Architectures—systems that could not fail, where security and protocol were absolute.

The Glitch in the Industry

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to assist with the sanitization of dialysis clinics. It was a wake-up call. I realized the residential cleaning industry was operating on outdated “1950s logic”—feather dusters, rag-and-bucket mops, and zero accountability. It was a broken system.

The “Asset Preservation” Protocol

I founded Bravo Maids to bring Systems Engineering to home hygiene.
